Windows is about voyerism

What if we could sneak a peek into someone else’s world?

Or 28 different worlds?

Windows is a body of work examining the relationship of people to their personal space. Combining multi-disciplinary digital styles with traditional art principles, the inner lives of an apartment building become metaphorical glimpses into our lives over the past year and a half.

These stolen moments, voyeuristically peering into empty rooms, occupants just out of frame, mirror our own post pandemic world. Everything and everyone is so close yet so far away. We are more connected and more apart than ever. Comparing the positive (windows) and the negative (missing people) the work creates a space to explore the duality of the nest and our freedom / attachment to it.
